You never know who you’ll run into at EURO Auto Festival. Every year there are plenty of local dignitaries, racers, famous collectors, and industry leaders. The 2018 show is sure to have much of the same and more. In addition, we’re happy to announce that our featured guest will be Keith Martin.
Keith is an automotive switch-hitter of sorts with talents in every facet of the collector car hobby. He’s a writer, a publisher, a television host, an academic, a racer, an advocate and has even been known to turn a wrench or two.
Keith is the founder of the fabled Sports Car Market magazine and according to his bio on that publication’s website:
[Keith] founded the monthly Sports Car Market magazine twenty-six years ago, and it has developed into the authoritative informed voice of the collector car hobby. Martin’s second publication, American Car Collector, launched two years ago, continues to be the fastest growing collector car publication in America.
Martin’s columns have appeared in the New York Times, where he incorporates reviews on the collection of exotic automobiles including the Ford GT and the Bentley Continental GT. Noted for his onstage wit, warmth and deep knowledge of collectible cars, Martin has been an emcee at Pebble Beach, the Meadow Brook Concours, Concorso Italiano, the Kirkland Concours, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, Keels and Wheels and many other events.
He has hosted numerous television specials and is the co-host of “What’s My Car Worth” shown on the Velocity channel. He was the Chairman of the Meguiar’s Collector Car Person of the Year Award, is on the Board of Trustees of the LeMay Museum and has served on the faculty of the Collier Museum symposium on Connoisseurship.
Keith will be emceeing several events at EURO as well as spending time on the show grounds. So be sure to purchase your official EURO poster, bring a Sharpie and have him sign it.
